The City of Columbia held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Partager Galley Gifts and Home on October 16, 2023 at their location at 5910 Garners Ferry, Columbia, SC 29209.

French for “shared,” partager (pronounced par-ta-jay) is a coterie of artists, antiquarians and unique retailers gathered in one location centrally located in Columbia, SC. Host to weekly workshops and monthly wine tastings, Partager is a destination, a gallery, and a unique shopping experience.

Contest Overview:

The primary goal of the contest was to foster community involvement while promoting Columbia’s beloved holiday traditions. The contest encouraged participants to creatively showcase their holiday spirit through festive decorations that will bring joy to all who visit and pass through the Capital City this season.

The contest was open to all businesses and nonprofit organizations within the City of Columbia. Participants were invited to decorate the exterior of their storefronts, entranceways, or window displays—provided that the decorations are visible from the outside and are family-friendly. The winner of the contest will receive a $500 prize, recognizing the entity as the “Most Festive Business/Nonprofit in Columbia.”

Other finalists in the contest were The Arcade Mall, Peach Properties, Inc., and Re-Find.

We thank all of the businesses/nonprofits who entered the contest and decorated their buildings to spread some extra holiday cheer this year!
